The town of Rethymnon is 17 km away. The antiquities of the ancient town of Eleftherna and the Monastery of Arkadi are in a distance of 3 and 9 km accordingly.The nearest port is in Rethymnon and the nearest airport is in Heraklion, in a distance of 74 km.
